A new way of dealing with waste in the Central Goldfields Shire has been ticked off by council.
Councillors adopted the strategy on Tuesday night saying Maryborough is now low waste with targets in place to reduce landfill.
Council boss Noel Harvey says the plan reflects the ideas of the community.
